Description: Over the past decade, there have been significant advances in the treatment of youth with sexual behavior problems. Holistic\ecological models have emerged, recognition of developmental issues and brain development has challenged traditional concepts and methods. The recognition of multiple pathways of offending are being developed along with co-morbid diagnosis and assessments now influence treatment.
This workshop will:
1) Provide an overview of emerging models related to treating this population;
2) Provide an overview of current research and literature; and
3) Focus on current thinking regarding treatment modalities for sexual offenders.
Presenter: Roy Chancey, LCSW
